Portland Owl - SOLD

Carved from Portland stone, Portland Owl was sanded to totally smooth on its face and textured with a bouchard (kinda like a meat tenderiser for hard things) across its back, heads and wings. Highly stylised inspired by the work of Geoffrey Dashwood and Anthony Theakstone.

Portland owl sold to a lovely lady who had not long lost her "wise old owl" husband. I installed it in a downpour and have never been so wet. It now sits on a post in her garden where she can see it everyday from her lounge. She tells me that she still talks to it
